How the data is made

The ConvoyMeet parking map is built on open data. We take information from the sources listed below, check it, remove duplicates, organise, combine and supplement it — for example with the names of the nearest settlements. The data in ConvoyMeet is therefore modified compared with the original. Reports, ratings and other information provided by users are kept separately from this database.

Fraunhofer ISI — European Truck Parking Locations

Free copy of the parking database (ODbL)

The ConvoyMeet parking database is a derivative database of OpenStreetMap and other sources. It is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Anyone can get a complete machine-readable copy free of charge.

1. Write to info@convoymeet.com with the subject “ODbL” or send a request in the Telegram Mini App: Profile → About → Data sources and licences → Request a copy of the parking database. No registration and no reason needed.
2. We will send you a link to a ZIP archive: the database as CSV (UTF-8), a description of the fields and changes, the list of sources with their licences, and the licence texts.
3. The link is valid for a limited time. If it has expired, just write again and we will send a new one. The copy is free; there are no conditions other than the ODbL and the source licences.
